Cool Animal of the Week #5 - This one-eyed frog

I found a really cool one-eyed green frog while on a trip to the Adirondacks in October 2010. What I found ironic is that you would tend to think that the environment in the Adirondacks is rather clean in comparison to New York City for example. This frog was found in an area that was mined, so maybe some chemicals are leaching into the environment and caused this mutation. I am so surprised that this little guy made it to adulthood, only having vision on one side!
